The family portrait begins with a consultation appointment that usually takes place in my studio. We will go over clothing options and also discuss the locations of the portrait, what time of day works best for the season and what kind of shots we hope get from the session. That is usually the best time to schedule a family portrait session so bring your calendar with you.

The family portrait session lasts about an hour. During that time, we try to create a couple of options for the large group sitting and then we also try to shoot some smaller groups shots and/or individual images.

Next we meet at my studio for a proof review. This is by appointment where we go over all the images created at your session and you decide which images work best for you and your family. This proofing session can last up to 90 minutes as we take the time to discuss custom image enhancements, sizes and finishes.

Music

If you are a musician and are looking for marketing images of you or band, please send samples of you music so we can listen and pre-visualize the proper lighting, backdrop and set up so the images fit your needs exactly.

Model/Acting Images

If you are an aspiring model or actor we taylor the session to fit your individual needs. If you are just looking for head shots we can do that in our studio or if you would like something that has more emotion built in or would like some body shots, we will set a session on location.
